The grapes are harvested in the Lodi valley as well as in the Washington area for the pinot gris. They are fermented in steel tanks yielding slightly dry whites.

Rose wine

For the Apothic rose wine no grapes are disclosed. Part of the red wine grapes were submitted to malolactic fermentation to develop a soft and refreshing mouthfeel. But as for most roses they rather reflect the skill of the winemaker rather than the terroir.
